The Galleri test aims to detect cancer early, when it can be cured. Today, only five types of cancer have routine screening tests, leaving many cancers undetected until later stages, when survival rates are much lower. Galleri is a multi-cancer early detection (MCED) test that can detect more than 50 types of cancer. When a cancer signal is detected, Galleri is able to identify where the cancer is located in the body with high accuracy. Galleri requires only a simple blood draw that can be done as part of a routine doctor’s visit and is meant to complement existing cancer screening practices. The test provides early detection insights that helps patients be proactive about their health.
